First of several Women Only Gravel Rides for 2021. Our first ride is a 29 mile route that rolls South from downtown Fenton for some awesome Livingston County dirt! Start with some easy pavement miles to warm up. These are sleepy streets but do not have a wide shoulder. We will roll together to Hartland Road.
Route begins by riding South on S Leroy Street to Hartland Rd.
-Turn Right on High St then Left on State Rd.
-Continue on State Road until it turns in to Hartland Rd.
Continue on Hartland Road to Clyde Road.
9.5 Miles - Right on Clyde Road to Tipsico Lake Road.
13 Miles - Left on Tipsico Lake Road.
16.2 Miles- Right on Demode Road.
Shimmy to the Right on Hickory Ridge to remain on on Demode Road
-Shimmy to the Left on Fish Lake Rd to remain on Demode Road
19.5 Miles - Left on Buckhorn Lake Road.
22.7 Miles - Left on Rattalee Lake Road
Follow Rattalee to the Left which turns into Taylor Lake Road
24.5 Miles - Right on Bone Road
26 Miles - Right on Tipsico Lake Road
-Tipsico turns into Jayne Road
27.8 Miles - Right on East St almost immediately after Tipsico turns into Jayne
Left on Ellen and return to Crust.
A few rules that just don't change, each athlete needs a helmet-no exceptions, flat kit and a bike in proper working order that is capable of handing dirt roads. Riders should be comfortable with fitness to cover the distance and have basic bike skills. Experience with group rides is not necessary, you can gain that with us!
